൯ HIGH POWER JOB

Are you sitting high on a job? Not on a high post but high as in height? Have you tried flying in a helicopter before? I have never done that before maybe would try if given the chance. Anyway this is a part two of loving your job. There is this power lineman who goes out to work on high tension wires by helicopter but not the usual sitting inside the helicopter but instead outside while flying. How about that? Very adventurous and thrilling to do that? Wait until you see the video clip on exactly what he does then you might feel your knees knocking at each other and clenching of fists at the same time.

Wearing a hot suit made of 75% fire retarded material and 25% stainless steel threads whereby half a million voltage passes around him and he is perfectly safe just like in a 'Faraday Cage'. The cage was named after Michael Faraday whose theory was when a cage is energised with whatever voltage with a man enclosed inside, the voltage merely flow around him.

Who would have thought of working in this kind of job would you think he is insane? Those with Acrophobia, (fear of heights) would be certainly out of the list. Life Insurance company most probably would decline the coverage provided a hefty loading is compromised. The man says it is perfectly safer than crossing the streets and you know what? His three main fears was, one~electricity; two~heights and three~woman and he is married to them.

Are you still complaining or unhappy over your current job? Think again. Give it a good thought.

I'm grateful I have a job that does not involve risking my life! I have my fair share of ups and downs but overall, I'm grateful : )

@CH Voon ~ no idea how much they are paid or how many have been 'cooked' so far. Latest I saw in a YouTube a 23 year old lineman got electrocuted on the job. Poor soul. Thanks for what we are having right now.

@Merryn ~ cari makan is not easy nowadays yeah be thankful we are considered quite lucky. thanks.

@foongpc ~ ups and downs is in the head and if this guy falls gonna be one way for sure no 'ups'. True we should count our blessings and be grateful. thanks.

@molly ~ oh hands trembling already haha. Happy CNY to you & family too. thanks.

Gong Xi Fa Cai, CheaHSan! Hope the new year started well for you. It has, hasn't it? You had a prospect so early in the year already. Gong Xi! Gong Xi!

Thanks for sharing the insightful video. It clearly reminds us that some jobs are dirty but someone's got to do it. It also makes the rest thankful for having it so good. Have a lovely day ahead..

Tiger gave a great roar this year and prospect calling up. Great! How about you? You had a good start too for this year?.

Sometimes we think we have a big problem until we see what bigger pain some people are going through. Just like the saying about a man complained he did not have nice shoes until he saw someone without feet.

I have a desk-bound job. While it can sometimes be mundane, but I don't suffer muscle aches at the end of the day, and thus I don't complain.

Wearing a hot suit, gosh.

Very provocative, and I shake violently standing on the edge of a cliff!

EastCoastLife ~ most people cant take high rise job or going up high places. thanks.

Secretia ~ count our blessings need not have to resort to this job. Somehow the fear always there, office was at 20th floor and the fear was not so much on height but afraid the glass pane might give way if stand too close. thanks.

Glennis ~ Haha have a good drive. thanks.
