ஃ Papa, Son & Train..

One old man was sitting with his 25 years old son in the train. Train is about to leave the station. All the passengers are settling down into their seats. As the train started the young man was filled with a lot of joy and curiosity. He was sitting on the window side. He went out one hand and feeling the passing air. He shouted, "Papa see all the trees are going behind". Old man smile and admired his son's feelings. Beside the young man one couple was sitting and listing all the conversation between father and son. They were little awkward with the attitude of the 25 years old man behaving like a small child.

train

Suddenly the young man again shouted, "Papa see the pond and animals. Clouds are moving with the train". Couple was watching the young man embarrassingly. Now its start raining and some of water drops touches the young man's hand. He is filled with joy and he closed his eyes. He shouted again, "Papa it's raining, water is touching me, see papa". Couple couldn't help themselves and ask the old man. Why don't you visit the Doctor and get your son treated. Old man said, "Yes, we were from the hospital. Today my son got his eyes for the first time in his life".

Moral of the story is:
We must not jump to any conclusion until we know all the facts..

So true. We assume too much, which often does more damage than good. Mindfulness of our actions is the key! ;)

Thanks so much for this short story, and Blessed Wesak ya! ^_^

Wow...the ending of the story is a little bit surprising. :)

yeah, totally agree with you.. most of the time we concluded base on our assumptions which are not true.. we must find out the truth, analyse and then only we conclude.. :)

true! but i wonder how he know that is pond, animals, trees, and etc if this is the first time in his life?

but the story is very meaningful for me.

Sorry guys for the late reply ~

@Gratitude ~ More than often humans love to be judgmental.

@Tekkaus ~ people are curious too so much so made lots of mistakes.

@[SK] ~ very normal for people to jump to conclusion without filtering their thoughts.

@CH Voon & fufu ~ there could be few scenarios. 1. he could be blind during his teens and now recover his sights 2. his father could have explained in detail how things look like for the past 25 yearsand he could remember them well. Glad you like the moral of the story which is most important haha.

@bluedreamer27 ~ thanks for the visit and for following my blog, greatly appreciate it. Great contest all fantastic powerful songs selected. Having lots of fun.

Very touching.. we take our eyes for granted. we can see and touch and feel.. imagine if we were in darkness..how scary will that be..

Indeed, we tend to do this even without realizing it - judging people. It's good to get a wake up call every now and then :)
